Hi Dear People. My Name is Stephen Zimbone and I recently had to go to Boston to attend My Brothers Funeral. On the return flight out of Boston I met a WONDERFUL Jet Blue employee at the desk who was just THE BEST. His first name is ERNIE. I asked him a million questions and he was incredibly professional and so pleasant, patient and gracious. I observed him in dealing with others and he displayed the same courtesy and professionalism ‘can’t be taught’ demeanor. He is A WONDERFUL ADDITION to your staff. Please have this letter of appreciation go into his folder. Please The Flight was Boston To Palm Beach on Thursday morning leaving at 10:30 AM April 13 Flight B6 2421 (I think)
This is a bit late in coming but an airline attendant saved my life (well, phone) on a recent trip. I was flying to Boston from Buffalo, and my phone must have fallen out of my back pocket onto the floor under my seat. Once I discovered it gone, I looked everywhere and checked with the information and the police unit. Somebody must have told one of the attendants of our aircraft and she approached me before boarding and said it had been turned in. I couldn’t figure out where, and just boarded our departing flight figuring I would need to get a new phone. HOWEVER, the flight attendant (Jackie, based out of Boston) saw me when I was boarding and asked if I had reclaimed it. When I said no, she LEFT the plane. She was the senior attendant and returned in time to do the announcements, etc. I was already at peace with my absent phone, when she appeared at my seat with it in her hand! As it happened, her fellow flight attendant (a gentleman whose name I didn’t get) was the person who found it. I was so grateful. Thanks, JetBlue. You have caring, excellent staff. I was blown away by their kindness.
